The Fresson Trust

The Fresson Trust is an aviation charity set up in 1991 with the objective of furthering the knowledge of aviation past, present and future, for the benefit of people living in, or visiting the Highlands and Island of Scotland, by all possible means, and in memory of Captain Ernest Edmund Fresson, OBE (1891-1963).

It also offers a modicum of financial assistance to people aspiring to careers in aviation, particularly prospective pilots, engineers and air traffic controllers.

The Trust also organises events to commemorate various anniversaries of Captain Fresson and his airline, so as to keep his achievements in front of the public and to encourage others to follow in his footsteps. It is also actively collecting the logbooks and memorabilia of aircrew that have flown in the Highlands and Islands.

For further information on the Trust and its work visit its website.
