Stornoway Airport will play host to a Motoring Fun Day organised by the Western Isles Transport Preservation Group on Saturday 14 August.
Vehicles will be on display from 1pm to 5pm and Isles FM will be broadcasting live from the event between 1pm and 3pm.
Road vehicles attending the event are expected to come from as far as Yorkshire. Members of the Airport Fire Service and Engineering Department will display one of their fire appliances and a snow clearing vehicle.
The event will also feature a range of activities and entertainments for all the family including bouncy castle, bungee run, archery, Noddy train rides, digger competition, line dancing, raffles, stalls and baking.
Calum Maclennan, Secretary of the Western Isles Transport Preservation Group said: “The airport is an ideal location with plenty of hard standing to display the heavier vehicles and allows everyone to get a good view of the vehicles. There’s also ample space for the entertainments and parking for visitors. We look forward to a good day on Saturday.”
Seonaid Clarke, Stornoway Airport Manager said: “Last year’s event at the airport was a huge success and we look forward to another great day out for all the family this year. As well as the vintage vehicles on display there will be an opportunity to see at close hand some of our own appliances used in the day to day operation of the airport.”
