British Airways franchise partner Loganair Limited, wish to advise customers the following services due to operate on 16th April will be cancelled at short notice due to the unplanned closure of Stornoway Airport from 1520 hours. This closure is due to Air Traffic Control restrictions.
These cancellations are totally beyond the control of British Airways and we wish to apologise to all customers for the inevitable inconvenience to their travel plans.

Customers will be re-accommodated on alternative flights on Tuesday 17th April. Any passengers requiring overnight accommodation will be assisted by customer services staff at the affected airports.
David Neill, Chief Commercial Officer for Loganair said, “we apologise sincerely to all our customers for the cancellation of their flights today. These changes are totally beyond the control of Loganair and our priority is to ensure that customers are assisted fully in making alternative travel arrangements. We are seeking urgent reassurance from Highlands and Islands Airports Limited, that action is being taken to ensure there is no reoccurrence of this event”.
Our customer services staff at Stornoway airport will deal with the individual requirements of the passengers throughout the day.
