Campbeltown Airport Today

Campbeltown airport operates scheduled flights by FlyBe (Loganair) operating either a DH6 Twin Otter or Saab 340 aircraft. The airfield is opened Monday to Friday and able to open at weekends on requests. The airport can accommodate the needs of most air services such as training flights, aircraft trials charter etc.

The Runway 11/29 at Campbeltown, being 3,049 meters long, is the longest of any public airport in Scotland. It was built in World War II to permit heavily-fuelled aircraft to take off on transatlantic flights.

There are great local transport links to and from the airport for business and leisure users to take once they arrive and taxis and car hire can be pre-booked by using the links within theInformation Pages.
