Campbeltown airport is located three miles from the town of Campbeltown on the main settlement of Kintyre which is one of Scotland's most beautiful and famous peninsulas. Campbeltown is situated on a deep bay sheltered by Davaar Island and the surrounding hills. Very close to the airport are the attractions of the famous Springbank Distillery and Machrihanish Golf Club which was established in 1876.
