Shetland (Sumburgh)

Shetland is one of Scotland’s best kept secrets, with 6,000 years of civilisation and some of the nation’s most diverse wildlife and unspoilt landscapes.  Its 1,600 miles of coastline provide a variety of terrains and access to some spectacular views at every turn.  Shetland is located in the warm waters of the Gulf Stream so although being on the same latitude as the southern tip of Greenland, the islands enjoy temperate weather throughout the year.
