INVITATION - Highlands and Islands Connectivity - Business Summit

‘Local Access, Global Outlook'

In Partnership with Highlands and Islands Airports Limited

Wednesday 28 July, 12 noon - 2.00pm, Venue: Inverness Airport

The Highlands and Islands aspire to be the most attractive place to do business in Europe and to be a highly successful growth region, it must compete highly effectively for ideas, investment and people.

As a peripheral region, transport connectivity is especially important to realising our full economic potential as a place to work, to visit and to do business, and aviation is of critical importance.

Air services enable access to domestic and global markets for key sectors and attract inward investment. Lifeline services contribute to economic prosperity and the sustainability of communities.

However, the challenges for infrastructure investment by the public sector and the aviation sector are many and there are fears that this is likely to impact disproportionately on the Highlands and Islands.

It is vital that the region's business and the economic community work together now to focus on our connectivity and competitiveness, identify our priorities and build our case for investment.

SCDI, in partnership with Highlands and Islands Airports Limited, is pleased to invite you to this Business Summit on Highlands and Islands Connectivity which will be held at Inverness Airport on 28 July.  For information please click here
