Out of Hours Permit Scheme

Please be aware that fixed wing aircraft which exceed 5,700 kgs MTOW no longer qualify to operate under the HIAL Out of Hours Indemnity Permit Scheme. On the grounds of safety, the justification for taking this decision was to negate against aircraft above this weight being chartered to/from a HIAL aerodrome outside its published hours, when there is no air traffic service or airport fire service cover available.
