Highlands & Islands Airports launches Summer Photographic Competition

Launching today HIAL is on the lookout for budding photographers as it launches the second phase of its photographic competition today (13.08.10).  We are looking for images of your favourite summer scene from the areas around all of our 11 airports - it could be your special place, a great image from your holiday this year, someone having fun doing what they enjoy or just one of those breath taking views the region is famous for.  Entries close on Monday, September 6^th so please start looking through your images today.  We look forward to seeing them all.  For more information and terms and conditions follow the relevant links.

Blas Festival Concerts to be held at Inverness Airport

Following the first ever Blas Festival concert held at Inverness Airport in 2009, there will be two exciting events this year.  On Saturday September 3rd, 2010 Hanger 2 will be hosting a fantastic concert with three acts performing on the night.  The following weekend will see an Airport Blas Ball being held within the airport terminal restaurant with a gourmet meal guest speaker and singer and dancing the night away to the Occasionals.  For further information on both events please click here or visit the Booth website.
