Dundee Airport is to gain its first ever international route after Europe’s largest regional airline Flybe confirmed plans for a new service from the city to Amsterdam.

Flybe will operate six days a week to Amsterdam Schiphol from 23 May.

The new route is a “significant milestone” for the airport and city according to Inglis Lyon, Managing Director of airport operator HIAL: “It gives Dundee its first international route as well as access to one of Europe’s biggest and best connected hub airports.”

Tickets are now on sale, with prices starting from £19.99 one way, available from www.flybe.com
