Following the strict measures announced by the Prime Minister and the First Minister on 19 December 2020, we have been liaising closely with Transport Scotland and our aviation partners to ensure our airports can continue their unique role in providing lifeline and essential services so vital for our communities. In line with Government travel restrictions, airlines have reduced their schedules.
In order to maintain these vital air links, our airports will remain open to accommodate a skeleton schedule for lifeline and essential flights.
Our priority remains the provision of vital services for our communities whilst at the same time maintaining the health and wellbeing of our staff. Therefore, to ensure essential services, including medical and NHS patient transfer, royal mail, and the energy industry, can continue we have reviewed our operating hours to maintain staffing resilience.
Our airport managers will continue to implement the contingency arrangements in place to ensure Dundee Airport continues to operate as required.
Details of any amendment to airport opening times will updated below and signposted on our social media channels:
|Mon - Fri||06:45 - 20:45|
|Sat||09:00 - 16:00|
|Sun||09:00 - 20:45|
|(and by arrangement)|
Dundee Airport – operated by Highlands and Islands Airports Limited (HIAL) – takes the safety of its passengers and staff very seriously.
For this reason, we have introduced new measures to minimise risk to everyone within the airport.
You will see staff wearing more personal protective equipment (PPE) than normal, including face masks and gloves where required.
Screens have been installed and physical distancing measures are in place with sanitiser stations in key locations across the airport.
Our cleaning regimes have been made even more thorough, with more frequent cleaning carried out across the airport and a focus on frequent-touch areas, including trays.
You will be required to wear a face covering at all times at the airport and follow our physical distancing requirements.
