Updated 20 July 2021
As scheduled flights and passenger numbers increase, and travel restrictions are relaxed, we have introduced additional mitigation measures to help ensure passenger and staff safety.
Our airport teams will continue to follow a comprehensive series of mitigation measures including effective passenger management, enhanced cleaning programmes, the use of sanitiser and a broad range of PPE.
The safety and wellbeing of our passengers and staff remains our upmost priority. It is compulsory for passengers arriving and travelling through our terminal buildings to always wear a face covering and to maintain physical distancing requirements.
We continue to follow the latest guidance from the Scottish Government and Health Protection Scotland - you can view the latest guidance on travel and transport on the Scottish Government website.
If you are planning to travel abroad, we recommend that you check the latest Scottish Government international travel advice.
Travel queries for our airports are answered in our Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) section.
In line with Scottish Government guidance, those travelling to a Scottish Island are encouraged to take two rapid lateral flow tests prior to departure. You can order lateral flow testing kits to your home and are advised to take the first test three days before departure and the second on the day of departure.
This is a voluntary programme that will help minimise the risk of spreading Covid into island communities. Further information for getting tested in Scotland can be found on the Scottish Government website.
