The Highland Council has confirmed that Air Charter Scotland has been appointed as the operator of the Wick–Aberdeen air service.
The new contract will operate from 12 January 2026 until 31 March 2026, with an option to extend subject to the availability of funding. The service will run six days per week using an 18-seat Jetstream 32 aircraft, which will be based in Wick.
The revised timetable will include early-morning weekday departures to support business travel, access to healthcare, and onward connections via Aberdeen. Services will also be scheduled to accommodate weekend leisure travel and commuting requirements.
Booking systems are currently being brought online, with fares starting from £74.99 for a one-way journey.
