KLM Royal Dutch Airlines has marked 10 years of operations from Inverness Airport, having launched services between Inverness and Amsterdam in 2016.
The route has played an important role in connecting the Highlands with destinations across Europe and beyond via Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, supporting tourism, business travel and international connectivity for the region.
KLM currently operates two daily flights between Inverness and Amsterdam, with additional services running during the peak summer months.
Dan Mason, Inverness Airport Manager, said of the occasion: “Over the past ten years, KLM’s services from Inverness have provided an important link between the Highlands and the rest of the world. The route has supported business connectivity, tourism and access to global markets, while also giving local communities greater choice and convenience when travelling internationally. We are proud to celebrate this milestone with KLM and look forward to continuing our strong partnership in the years ahead.”
