Strictly Inverness is back for an unbelievable eleventh year and Airport General Manager, Graeme Bell, is donning his dance shoes and taking part in this fantastic fundraising event!
After Graeme’s family members benefited from a Scottish Hospice – where the care and attention given to patients was amazing, and the kindness and hospitality extended was second-to-none – Graeme really wanted to be able to give back.
Graeme felt strongly about fundraising to ensure that these services are provided and funded for others.
The team at Highlands and Islands Airports Limited (HIAL) are getting behind Graeme and showing their support, with HIAL also kindly agreeing to be Graeme’s corporate sponsor.
The training routine is rigorous, with three 1 hour training sessions every week from January to May in order to be well prepared. On the night, routines will be performed in front of a panel of judges and an audience of 560 people so everyone is cramming in as much practice as possible.
As well as learning how to samba, cha cha cha and shake his hips, Graeme will also be hosting a variety of fundraising events in order to achieve his fundraising target of £10,000. It costs £7,800 per day to deliver hospice services to individuals across the Highlands.
If you’d like to support Graeme at any of his events, these are a few coming up:
