Degree awarded as part of workplace based Graduate Apprenticeship Scheme for member of Dundee's airport team.
Cameron Marshall, Interim Airport Manager at Dundee Airport, has graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management as part of his Graduate Apprenticeship supported by Highlands and Islands Airports Ltd (HIAL).
Graduate Apprenticeships combine academic learning with full-time employment, enabling participants to apply their knowledge directly within the workplace while developing key professional and leadership skills. Cameron successfully completed the programme, delivered by Robert Gordon University, alongside his operational role, demonstrating strong commitment and effective time management.
HIAL offers both Modern and Graduate Apprenticeships as part of its ongoing commitment to workforce development and succession planning across its airport network. These programmes provide recognised qualifications alongside practical, work-based learning and support colleagues in building capability, confidence and career progression.
Modern Apprenticeships in Business typically take between 12 and 24 months to complete and work towards an SCQF Level 7 qualification. Graduate Apprenticeships in Business Management are delivered in partnership with Scottish universities and are usually completed over four years.
By supporting apprenticeship pathways, HIAL continues to invest in developing skills, strengthening leadership capacity and supporting sustainable career opportunities across the Highlands and Islands.
