
Minister for Agriculture and Connectivity, Jim Fairlie MSP visited Kirkwall Airport today.
He spent time thanking the team for their hard work and continuing service to customers. He particularly wanted to thank all the teams who helped welcome visitors and competitors during the Orkney International Island Games.
The Minister was greeted by Jamie Conley, Kirkwall’s Airport Manager, and was introduced to Margaret (Mags) MacRae, Airport Fire and Operations Manager and Jacob Spence, Interim Airport Security Manager. After meeting members of the team, the Minister passed through to the security area to board his flight back to Edinburgh.
