What liquids, pastes, aerosols, and gels can be taken in my cabin baggage?

Liquids, pastes, aerosols, and gels in a container with a capacity of 100 ml or less which are contained within the required 20cm x 20cm, 1 litre clear plastic bag can be taken in your cabin baggage. 

The bag must not be knotted or tied at the top and each passenger may only carry one of these bags.

Changes to security procedures on 1 June 2024

Due to changes in regulations, from 1 June 2024, passengers will be able to:

  • Bring liquids in containers of up to 2 litres in hand baggage.
    • Passengers should note that all liquids will need to be removed from hand baggage and liquid containers of 100ml or less should be placed in plastic bags measuring 20cm by 20cm in trays for screening.
  • Leave all electronic devices in their hand baggage for screening.
