Highlands and Islands Tourism Awards - Climate Seminar

Royal Bank of Scotland are hosting this seminar ahead of the Highlands & Islands Tourism Awards, featuring insight from industry experts and local businesses.

Royal Bank of Scotland are headline partners of the Highlands & Islands Tourism Awards, and category sponsors of the new Climate Champion award. As part of their commitment to leading the climate change discussion, the will host a seminar on the afternoon of the awards to support customers, businesses, and stakeholders in the tourism & leisure sector on their transition to Net Zero.

Many businesses in the tourism & leisure sector across the Highlands & Islands are unaware of the impact that climate change is having on the industry. Join us for this insightful session as we aim to demonstrate the real-life impact of not addressing the climate crisis, as well as highlighting the commercial opportunity in proactive mitigation.

This seminar will feature a keynote session and Q&A from Gary Kendall, NatWest Group's Head of Climate Strategy Implementation. The session will also feature local business case studies from the finalists of this year's Climate Champion Award at the Highlands & Islands Tourism Awards.
