Inverness Airport Masterplan open to public consultation

Highlands and Islands Airports Limited (HIAL) and Inverness Airport are pleased to present the draft Master Plan outlining the next stages of growth in the development of the airport.

The Inverness Airport Master Plan covers the period from 2020 to 2045 and aims to provide a realistic and adaptable plan to respond to actual growth of the airport whilst providing appropriate facilities for our passengers, staff and businesses alike.

The Master Plan has been developed in consideration of the traffic forecast up to the year 2045 and whilst we realise that COVID-19 will result in lower than expected growth, at least in the short-term, we do believe that the expansion will be required regardless, just not over the same time period.

This consultation provides an early opportunity to help shape the future of your airport and will run until 28 February 2021.  This is your chance to comment on the proposed Master Plan and tell us what you think the priorities should be.
