easyJet launches new Inverness–Birmingham route for March 2026

Inverness Airport is thrilled to share that easyJet has announced a new direct service between Inverness and Birmingham, bringing back a route that passengers have requested in recent years.

Flights will operate from March 2026, with tickets available to book from today, 20 November 2025. The new service gives Highland travellers easy access to Birmingham’s vibrant mix of culture, shopping, food, sport and family attractions, including the Bullring, the Jewellery Quarter, Cadbury World and the city’s famous canal network. It also opens the door to Birmingham Airport’s wide range of international connections, offering even more choice for onward travel.

Inverness Airport Manager Dan Mason welcomed the announcement: “Inverness Airport is delighted to welcome easyJet’s new service to Birmingham. This is a route our passengers have consistently told us they wanted to see return, and we’re pleased to see that connectivity restored for the Highlands. Birmingham offers something for everyone, from the Bullring and the Jewellery Quarter to world-class culture, family attractions and major sporting venues.

It also provides access to Birmingham Airport’s extensive international network, opening up even more travel options for business and leisure."
