Direct flights between Inverness and Dublin are set to return, and with new airline partner Aer Lingus Regional, exclusively operated by Emerald Airlines, launching a new service from 21 May 2026.
The route will operate twice weekly on Thursdays and Sundays, strengthening links between the Highlands and Ireland’s capital. The service will provide convenient options for both business and leisure travel.
Dublin offers a wide range of attractions, from historic streets and cultural landmarks to a vibrant music and hospitality scene, as well as easy access to coastal and countryside locations.
During the summer season, flights have been timed to offer onward connectivity via Dublin to Aer Lingus transatlantic services to New York (JFK) and Boston.
Inverness Airport Manager, Dan Mason, said: “It is exciting to see the return of direct flights between Inverness and Dublin, restoring a route that has been missed by passengers across the Highlands and Islands.
This service not only reconnects the region with Ireland’s capital but it also provides onward access to North America via Aer Lingus transatlantic flights, including New York and Boston, with convenient connection times through Dublin.

This new service marks Inverness Airport’s first route with Aer Lingus and represents a further positive step in improving connectivity and choice for passengers across the Highlands.
