The security training team at HIAL have recently been awarded “Outstanding” in their assessment under the UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) Quality Assurance Framework.
The assessment of our security training was carried out in January by the CAA External Quality Assessor and looked at the following:
- Management & Governance Structure
- Assessment & Training Materials
- Resources
- Internal Monitoring & Self-Assessment
- Learner & Data Management
- Certification
The Quality Assurance Framework is designed to assess aviation security training across UK industry. It looks to observe how training providers ensure their own quality assurance standards are met, and how continuous improvement across training is implemented.
Receiving the Outstanding certification means that the security team at HIAL were considered to have exceeded expectations on the training they delivered.
