Airport Information for Inverness Airport

Getting Here

Inverness Airport is approximately nine miles northeast of Inverness. By road, access to the A96 is provided via the Inverness Airport Way. 

Bus 

Public transport services operate to Inverness city centre, Nairn and Elgin. Please note that during public holidays and periods of adverse weather, public transport timetables may vary - check in advance before travelling. 
 
Stagecoach Inverness provides a direct connection from Inverness Airport to Inverness city centre. This service also extends to Nairn. From here, travellers can connect with routes to Elgin and Aberdeen.

Train

Inverness Airport Railway Station is located approximately 15 to 20 minuntes walk away from the airport terminal building. Simply follow the directional signs to locate the pathway around the perimeter of the airfield. The pathway is well lit but is uncovered so please take care in adverse weather.

The station is a scheduled stop on the Inverness to Aberdeen route run by Scotrail. For more information on train times visit ScotRail.

The Number 11 bus run by Stagecoach provides a link between the station and the terminal building, services operate every 30 minutes. There is a charge applicable to this service.  For more information and timetables visit Stagecoach.
