Inverness Airspace Change Updates
The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) Instrument Flight Procedure (IFP) Regulator has recently completed the review of the IFP submission for the HIAL Inverness ACP.
Following the submission of the ACP Addendum in June 2024, there have been no further changes, and the IFP Regulator is now satisfied that the proposed final procedure designs can be flight validated. The CAA has requested that HIAL provide the CAA with an updated target AIRAC implementation for the ACP. The Inverness ACP Project Team has identified AIRAC 12/25, which will enable the potential implementation of the new procedures, that will be contained within the new Controlled Airspace to be the 27 November 2025. This date will be subject to further agreement from the CAA as to whether or not they approve or reject the ACP, which is expected to be available on the 25 July 2025.

This addendum presents a formal update from HIAL for consideration by the CAA regarding Safety, Design, Engagement and Environmental considerations to assist them in making at a decision.
