London Heathrow Airport

Underground

The Piccadilly line connects London Heathrow Airport to central London. This service departs Heathrow station every few minutes, with journey times  of approx. 50 minutes. There are three tube stations located at the airport. These can be found in terminals 2-5.

Train

The Heathrow Express is the quickest route between Heathrow Central and London Paddington. 

With train services operating at regular intervals, journey times are approximately 15 minutes. Tickets for this service are available online or via the Heathrow Express app. You can also buy tickets from the terminal stations. Oyster cards can also be used to buy rail travel. To buy an Oyster card, visit the Transport for London website. 

The Heathrow Express train stops at Heathrow terminals 2, 3 and 5. For terminal 4, passengers can access a free transfer train from Heathrow Central. 

Bus

Heathrow's national coach network provides direct services to many UK towns and cities.

Heathrow’s express coach services are provided by several operators. These include National Express, Megabus, RailAir, and The Airline.

RailAir services operate from Heathrow to Reading, Woking, and Guildford.

The Airline services are managed by the Oxford Bus Company. These services connect Oxford and Heathrow day and night.

Taxi

Heathrow Airport has its own onsite and fully licensed taxi and private hire service. Taxis can be booked online or by telephone with the guarantee of fixed rates for its customers.
