Short stay, long stay and disabled parking bays are available at Inverness Airport.
The premium and drop off car park is close to the terminal building and stays of up to 10 minutes are free.
Two short stay car parks are located near the terminal building and provide best value for stays of under 72 hours.
The long stay car park is suited for vehicles left for a longer period. All long stay parking can be booked online prior to arriving at the airport, and advance booking is strongly recommended.
How far in advance can I book airport parking?
You can book parking at Inverness Airport up to 12 months in advance of your travel date.
Can I book airport parking at short notice?
You can only book in advance if the booking is made at least 12 hours before arrival.
Pricing and Payment
How much is parking at Inverness Airport?
There are different rates available depending on whether you pre-book or pay when you park. The best value for stays of 72 hours or less can be found in the Short Stay car park. The best value for stays over 72 hours is in the Long Stay car park. During peak travel times we would recommend pre-booking for the Long Stay car park to ensure a space as this is the only car park you can receive Long Stay rates and during peak times there are a small number of spaces available for those who have not booked.
What payment methods do you accept?
Visa, MasterCard and American Express are all acceptable methods of online credit and debit card payments.
Is there an admin fee if I pre-book with a credit card?
No, there are no card fees when booking with a credit or debit card.
Are my payment details secure?
Inverness Airport’s site uses a PCI compliant 2048 bit TLS v1.2 Certificate with Extra DH Encryption. This protects your personal information, including credit/debit card details, your name and your address.
How do I know my order has been placed?
Once you’ve completed the booking process, you’ll receive a confirmation email with a booking reference (e.g. 12345678-1) within five minutes of completing your booking. Don’t forget to make a note of this reference before you leave for the airport. If you haven’t received your booking reference, please call the information desk on 01667 464000.
How do I pay at the car park if I haven’t pre-booked?
Our car parks have pay-on-foot machines located outside the front of the terminal building. These accept cash and card payments. Alternatively, you can pay by debit or credit card at the exit barriers.
What is the overstay charge?
Overstay charges are the equivalent to the gate rate (see tables above).
Where can I find my booking reference?
Your booking reference can be found on the confirmation email sent to you after booking e.g. 12345678-1.
How can I resend my email confirmation?
You can do this by logging in to Manage My Booking.
Can I change the registration details attached to my booking?
You can amend the details of the car attached to your booking up to 24 hours before you’re due to arrive at the airport. Simply log in to the Manage My Booking section, click “amend booking” then change the registration details in the relevant box.
Can I cancel my booking?
Yes, you can cancel or change your car park booking up to 24 hours before your time of arrival by logging in to the Manage My Booking page unless you have booked the Non Flex product.
At the Car Parks
How long should I allow to get to the terminal if parking in Long Stay?
You should allow approximately 10 minutes to walk from the Long Stay car park to the terminal.

How secure are the car parks?
Our car parks are regularly patrolled.
How do the car park barriers work?
Our car parks have automatic number plate recognition for customers who have pre-booked. Simply pull up to the entry or exit barrier and wait a few seconds for the system to recognise your registration number. It will be scanned and, when recognised, the barrier will lift.
Upon arrival, if your registration is not recognised after 15 seconds, press the assistance buzzer and a member of the Information Desk team will be able to assist you.
If you have not pre-booked you will need to press for a ticket. Please keep this ticket and use this to pay when you return.
Do the car parks have height restrictions?
There are no height restrictions for any of our car parks.
What happens if the car park is full?
If you pre-book your parking, you are guaranteed a space, so there’s no need to worry.
Where can I park if I’m picking up or dropping off a passenger at the airport?
You can drop off passengers for free in front of the terminal building. Follow the drop-off/pick-up signs as you enter the car park. Take a ticket from the barrier and you have up to 10 minutes free parking. Enter your ticket at the exit barrier when departing the car park. If you stay longer, standard rates apply.
Are there spaces for motorcycles in your car parks?
Motorcyclists can park in any of our car park facilities. Motorcycle parking is charged at the advertised rates for each car park.
Blue Badge Holders
Where are the Blue Badge parking spaces?
Inverness Airport has Blue Badge parking bays available within the Premium and Drop off car park immediately in front of the terminal building. Blue Badge holders requiring to park on a long stay basis may do so in this car park where the long stay charges will apply. This will need to be validated by the information desk team for you or alternatively you can pre-book this space through our website.
Can I get special assistance from the car parks?
Yes, designated call points are available in the main short stay car park for any assistance required. These call points will give you direct contact to the Information Desk team within the terminal building who will be happy to arrange assistance for you.
Is there parking for coaches available?
Parking for coaches can be accessed via our restricted access lane at the front of the terminal building.
How much is coach parking?
Coach parking is limited to under two hours and the cost per coach is £10.
How do I arrange payment for coach parking?
Payment can be made in advance by speaking to a member of our team at the Information Desk by calling 01667 464000. If required payments can be made on site.
I have a minibus do I have to use the parking for coaches?
No, if you are picking up or dropping off using a minibus you can use any of the car parks. Minibuses are not permitted into the restricted access lane.
