Will my medical device need to be searched?
If the archway metal detector alarms any medical devices on your body will need to be checked. You will not be asked to remove them; however, a security operative will need to visually check them.
Our aim is to complete these checks as discretely as possible. Please advise our security operatives if you would be more comfortable for the checks to be carried out in private. Our security operatives will be more than happy to accommodate a private search on request; however, this option may not be immediately available.
If you feel uncomfortable at any time you can ask to speak to the Duty Security Supervisor. Please note that a duty Security Supervisor may not be immediately available due to other responsibilities. They will present themselves a soon as possible, your patience is appreciated.
